STORY FROM YOGA TEACHER TRAINING 2023 IN SWEDEN

On 14th May 2023, a group of amazing women embarked on a life changing journey: a 200-hr yoga teacher training.

They thought they would learn how to teach a yoga class… that, they did for sure, but they learnt so much more!

Over the course of 7 weeks, they practised yoga on and off the mat, discovered and experienced all the aspects of Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Japa Yoga and learnt how to apply the teachings of yoga into their daily life. There was a lot of laughters, a lot of tears, a lot of “ah-ha” moments, a lot of learning and a lot of teaching.

On 2nd June, they taught a 90 minutes yoga class as part of their evaluation and performed amazingly: all the hard work they had put into their studies over the weeks definitely paid off, but it was a lot more than that. The knowledge from the books and the manual was there, no doubt, but so was their presence as a teacher, the way they held space and were present for their students, their happiness to be of service and their gratitude for the beautiful teachings of yoga. We feel very honoured that they decided to join us on this journey and we feel grateful for them, their dedication and hard work; we are also so impressed and amazed by the transformations that have occurred throughout the training.

When we asked for their feedback, we loved to hear that they felt ready to get out there and teach and that the programme exceeded their expectations. One graduate wrote “this was the best possible investment in my future life. If you have a chance to do it, don’t miss out!”.
